At 2:16 p.m., Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias's XÂ account also posted a notice of a threat involving the Illinois Capitol Building, located at 401 South 2nd Street in Springfield.
The post reads, "Out of an abundance of caution, the Illinois Secretary of State Police issued a lockdown order and are currently conducting a sweep of the building."
