.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

- At 7:30 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 23.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

Poplar Bluff suspect sought in missing-moped investigation

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Poplar Bluff police are searching for a suspect in a missing-moped investigation. 

According to the Poplar Bluff Police Department, the theft suspect was caught on  in a gas station. The video shows the two men in black and orange hats. According to police, the man in the orange hat has been identified. 

The wanted suspect is seen in the video in a black cap, Fila hoodie, black basketball shorts and gray tennis shoes. There also appears to be a long, slender tattoo on the back of his left calf.
