MARION, Ky. -- Crews responded to a crash overnight on Wednesday after a semi crashed into a powerline pole.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the crash occurred at the 10.8 mile mark on U.S. 60, or Sturgis Road. For reference, this is near the Rush Creek Bridge and Adam Street along the edge of Marion City.

The site is now clear and reopen.

The KYTC says the road was able to remain passable thanks to flaggers with the crew. A crew eventually arrived and cleared the crash, allowing the road to reopen.

The powerline pole has since been fixed and replaced.
