BROSELEY, Mo. -- Two teenagers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Butler County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened at 2:18 p.m. on June 4 along County Road 661 in Brosely.
State officials said a 16-year-old from Quilin was driving a 2001 Yamaha Big Bear, with a 16-year-old passenger on board, going south on County Road 661 when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and hit a tree.
The driver was air-lifted to Cardinal Glennon in St. Louis while the passenger was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Medical Center.
The vehicle they were driving was considered totaled.
