...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

Big Muddy River near Plumfield and Murphysboro.

.Levels on the Big Muddy River will continue to drop, falling below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday, and at Murphysboro Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 25.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday was 25.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 18.4 feet
Tuesday, April 22.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
25.2 feet on 03/30/1977.

Winter Weather Advisory extended through entire region

CARTERVILLE, (WSIL) � Most of the area might be waking up to a little snow on Sunday morning. On the backside of all the rain we had on Saturday, a burst of snow trailed during the early morning hours on Sunday.

The National Weather Service expanded a Winter Weather Advisory to include the entire region through 8 a.m. on Sunday. 1-2 inches of snow is possible with this system.

For motorists out on the roads, caution is advised as some roads may be slick.

Snow will end by the mid-morning hours but slick road conditions may last through the afternoon hours. 

Be sure to check road conditions before you leave through IDOT, MODOT or KYTC road condition maps.
