WSIL (Carterville) -- It's a chilly start to the day with temperatures falling into the 30s. Today will be a 'cut & paste' of yesterday with cool and cloudy conditions. Afternoon temperatures will be back into the mid 40s.

Tomorrow will be about as nice as Thanksgiving can get. Sunshine will return along with warmer temperatures as we climb back into the mid to upper 50s. You shouldn't have any issues with traveling.

If you're waiting until after Thanksgiving to get in the holiday spirit, the weather will be nearly perfect to grab your tree. Friday and Saturday will be a bit on the chilly side but dry. Rain chances return as we head into the end of the weekend.
