CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- It was another very warm day across the region. Afternoon temperatures climbed well above average, making it feel more like spring than February.Â
An isolated shower will be possible through the evening and overnight hours, but any rain will be very light. Most will stay dry. Clouds will then start to break up again as we head into Friday.Â
Partly cloudy skies accompanied by temperatures in the upper 50s will make for a fantastic end to the week. The best part is, that it doesn't end there. Saturday will be another dry and warm day.
Our next chance for rain will arrive by Sunday, but it doesn't look like a washout. The best chance for rain will be focused through our southern counties.
We may be in the heart of winter, but the warm weather is expected to continue into next week. Enjoy it while it lasts!
