
WSIL(Carterville, IL)-- This morning, we are seeing a few isolated showers across our area. These showers are light and moving briefly from northwest to southeast. These showers will be moving through the area quickly, and be out of the region by mid morning. Temperatures this morning are in the low to mid 30s, with mostly cloudy skies.Â
We are also tracking some locally dense fog across the region in Poplar Bluff.Â
Today, you can expect to see partly cloudy skies through the morning hours, before skies turn mostly cloudy this afternoon. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 40s for much of our region, though we could see temperatures warm into the lower 50s in our southern counties.
Showers will be out of the region by mid morning, but light isolated showers will be returning to the region for the afternoon and evening hours. However, this evening will not be a washout by any means.Â
This afternoon and evening, we are tracking the possibility of gusty winds, with sustained winds of 10 to 15 miles per hour, with gusts up to 25.Â
Tomorrow, we will see temperatures warm into the into the mid to upper 40s, once again with partly cloudy skies.Â
The rest of the week looks to be trending warmer than average and dry until Sunday. Â
