VIENNA (WSIL) -- The Illinois State Fire Marshall's office is investigating a fire that broke in the town's only grocery store.
Vienna fire fighters responded to a call around 1 a.m. Saturday of heavy smoke coming from the Miles Brothers Foods.
Goreville, Buncombe, Cypress, Lake of Egypt, Metropolis and Pope County agencies all helped.
Crews were able to clear the scene around 5:30 a.m. and say no one was injured.
Owners updated the store's Facebook page saying, it's disappointing to have to close, and it will impact workers and the community.
There's no word yet on Miles Brothers Foods will reopen as damage still needs to be assessed.
