below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

Fans Not Allowed at JALC Basketball Home Opener

CARTERVILLE (JAL ATHLETICS) -- Due to current Region 24 restrictions, no fans will be allowed at the Men’s Basketball home opener between #1 ranked John A. Logan College and the Shawnee Saints on Saturday, January 23. The game will be streamed live on the College’s Facebook page starting at 1 PM and on the radio at 103.5 FM.

The Vols kick off the COVID shortened season as the top-ranked team in the NJCAA. Last season the Vols captured the Great Rivers Athletic Conference and Region 24 championships and was the fifth-seeded team in the National Tournament. The National Tournament was postponed and later canceled due to COVID 19.
