Former Saluki Wide Receiver flips commitment from Ohio to Ole Miss
CARBONDALE, IL (WSIL) - The transfer portal in college sports opens limitless options for athletes looking to get on the field, court or diamond. For one local football player, those possibilities have been hard to narrow down.

Former Wide Receiver Izaiah Hartrup previously announced he was leaving ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý Illinois to join Ohio University last week. Now, he has flipped his commitment from the Bobcats to Ole Miss; he's heading to the SEC.
If you have seen this play before, you are not alone.
Saluki fans best remember the wide receiver for his game-winning touchdown catch to lift SIU over bitter rival SEMO in last season war for the wheel game. Hartrup ended the year with 51 receptions and 6 touchdowns.
Hartrup plans to make some nose with Lane Kiffin and the Rebels. He previously averaged 13.8 yards per catch and has two years of college football left to play.
The news comes just 10 days after he had planned to join Ohio.
