CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- Carbondale boys golf picked up a win at Hickory Ridge on Thursday with a team score of 151. Althoff Catholic was second with 155 and Centralia finished third with a score of 164.

The Carbondale girls golf team had the success as well, winning the Mt. Vernon tournament with a round of 188. Centralia finished with a score of 200 and Mt. Vernon was third with a 223.

Massac County girls golf also picked up a win at West Frankfort, beating both the host Redbirds and Sparta. Patriots shot a 165 and were led by freshman Elise Coakley’s 38 to earn medalist honors.
