
CARBONDALE, IL (WSIL) - Kennard Davis Jr. was the second Saluki to enter the transfer portal this season.
Kennard Davis Jr. takes name out of transfer portal, will return to Saluki Basketball
After much thought, he has announced he will return to the Dawgs. The rising sophomore had a great freshman season and could be one of the top players in the league.
Davis averaged 4.2 points and three rebounds per game in 32 appearances.
The St. Louis native both started and came off the bench for ¾ÅÓÎÌåÓý. He shot 30 percent from 3-point land.
He made a nice impact in his first year with the Dawgs and could easily slide into the starting lineup next season.
Many Saluki fans were sad to see him enter the portal tonight they are happy to have him back.
The Salukis roster now with 8 players on it. Davis the third player in three days to commit to the team.
