.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping
below flood stage near Plumfield Sunday, and near Murphysboro
Tuesday.

- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage

McMahan named MVC player of the week

CARBONDALE (WSIL)– The Baseball Salukis are riding high after a change in momentum this past week, going from a ten game losing streak, to now riding a five game win streak.

A major part of that has been senior catcher Aiden McMahan, who drove in twelve RBIs in twelve at-bats for the Salukis in their 5-0 week, including a double, triple, and a homerun.

McMahan is SIU second player to earn such honors this season.
