- At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 17.5 feet

SIU BSB: SIU vs. Indiana State postponed

CARBONDALE (SIU ATHLETICS) -- The SIU baseball team's MVC Tournament game against Indiana State, originally scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday night, May 27, has been postponed due to inclement weather and will be played on Friday, May 28, at 2 p.m. CT in Itchy Jones Stadium. 

The Dallas Baptist vs. Bradley game, which started at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, was suspended in the middle of the sixth inning due to lightning in the area and will resume at 11 a.m. CT on Friday, May 28. The SIU-Indiana State game is scheduled to follow and will start at 2 p.m. CT on Friday, and the third game of the evening will start at 6 p.m. CT. 

NEW MVC TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE FOR FRIDAY, MAY 28

11 a.m. - Resumption of DBU-Bradley game (DBU leads, 4-2, middle of the 6th inning)

2 p.m. - Indiana State vs. SIU

6 p.m. - Game Three (Opponents TBD)

*If DBU beats Bradley at 11 a.m., Game Three will feature the loser of the SIU/Indiana State team vs. Valparaiso. If Bradley beats DBU at 11 a.m., Game Three will feature the loser of the SIU/Indiana State game vs. DBU. 

Single game tickets are available for $10 at the gate, and all-session passes to The Hill are available for $50.
