.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River, dropping below
flood stage at Plumfield Sunday morning, and at Murphysboro Tuesday
morning.

SIU Basketball earns #8 seed in MVC Tournament

CARBONDALE, IL (WSIL) - The start of postseason basketball is finally here for SIU.

SIU will be the #8 seed and play a rematch against #9 seed Indiana State at Arch Madness in St. Louis at 12 p.m. on Thursday. The winner will play No. 1-seed Drake at noon on Friday.

The Salukis are coming off a 95-77 loss to Indiana State but have big revenge plans when the two teams square off again on Thursday afternoon.
