CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- The clear and mild conditions will stick around overnight. Low temperatures Tuesday morning will dip into the mid 40s, a smidge above average.
Warm weather will be around all week, even with a couple of expected cold fronts. High temperatures Tuesday will top out in the upper 70s, well above average. There will plenty of sunshine, but a stray shower can't be ruled out in the afternoon. That chance is small, most of the region will remain dry.Â
Our first front will move through Wednesday. Temperatures will remain in the upper 70s until Thursday. The "cooler" air settles in Thursday, dropping highs into the mid 70s.
A second cold front is set to arrive Friday. This front will bring the chance for an isolated shower or storm. However, rainfall totals look very small. This front will bring a bigger drop in temperatures, with highs in the 60s by the weekend.
