Carterville Ill. (WSIL) -- Today we remained mostly cloudy but fairly dry after the morning showers. That has kept our temperatures down into the upper 70s to around 80 and of course the humidity was also high today. Luckily, a cold front will be moving through the area tonight and usher in some very nice weather.Â
Thursday and Friday will feature the best weather of the week with temperatures falling back into the low 80s and upper 70s for highs but also with a drop in humidity. That drop in humidity is going to make it feel amazing outside and great for having outdoor activities.Â

Next chance for rain unfortunately falls on the weekend when another impulse of energy moves by. Luckily storm fuel looks quite low so I really expect more showers than thunderstorms but still some rain expected along with cloud cover for your weekend.Â
