Clouds and Showers Move In, Especially South

Future Radar Sunday Morning

Carterville (WSIL) -- Another amazing day today with mostly sunny skies and temperatures roaring into the low to mid 60s. Most of the area got about 20 degrees above average this afternoon with fully sunny skies. Truly a magnificent weather pattern we are in as we start February.

Clouds will be moving in as we head into tonight and tomorrow morning. In terms of rainfall there will be a sharp cut off between areas seeing some light shower activity and those who just remain mainly cloudy. Expect many areas in the boot heel of Missouri and extreme NW portions of Tennessee to see the best shot at scattered rain later tonight into the day tomorrow. I expect everywhere else to remain mostly cloudy but dry.

Temperatures tomorrow should remain above average but with the cloud cover we will probably just get to the mid 50s for the highs.

The start of your work week looks absolutely gorgeous with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures staying in the low 50s. So if you missed out on enjoying the sunny weather the past couple days, don't worry there is plenty more where that came from!
