This morning, some thunderstorms in Southeast Missouri and Western Kentucky could bring hail and strong, damaging winds. Later today, Friday afternoon into the evening, a significant and dangerous outbreak of severe weather is expected. This could include strong and intense tornadoes that travel long distances across a wide area. There is also a possibility of widespread damaging winds.
Looking ahead, more unsettled weather will return on Sunday night and continue through Wednesday. This period will bring another chance for severe weather. Tuesday appears to have the highest potential for strong storms.
