
CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- It was a fairly seasonable end to the week. Dry and mild conditions will stick around through the rest of the evening. Overnight temperatures will dip into the mid 40s by Saturday morning.
Our next storm system will move in just in time for the weekend. Widespread rainfall and a few storms will move in Saturday and continue into part of Sunday, before clearing. Current rainfall projections range between a half an inch, to two inches, with the higher amounts through our east and southeastern counties.
High temperatures each day remain warm. Highs will stay above average, ranging between the mid to upper 60s.
