
CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- The sunshine and warm temperatures have made for another great day. A slight warming trend will take place through the end of the week. Afternoon high temperatures will rise a couple of degrees each day, reaching the low 80s by the weekend.
Although it'll be warm, it shouldn't be too uncomfortable. The sunshine will also stick around. There are still no rain chances in the forecast.
Our next cold front will move through Sunday. This will drop highs back into the 70s, followed by even cooler air next week. By next week some of the coolest air so far this season will settle in. Highs will drop into the 60s, with lows in the 30s.
