Carterville (WSIL) -- The actual cold front moved through our area today. Noticeably it is breezy and the winds much cooler as we set the stage for a brief cool down that continues tomorrow. Temperatures today dropped into the 40s behind the front and will continue to drop into the low 30s tonight.Â
Tomorrow we will be below average still but we should all get up to about the mid 50s. The winds should at least die down from what they have felt like the past couple of days. Also, those clouds clear out nicely and we should have a mostly sunny day across the region. Again, low temperatures reaching the low 30s area wide.Â
The sunshine will continue late week as temperatures begin to warm up nicely back into the mid and upper 60s!
