CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- It was a dreary and chilly end to the weekend but we have changes on the way.
Light rain and drizzle will continue to be a possibility throughout the remainder of the evening and overnight but a break from the rain is on the way.
Monday is projected to be a much drier and warmer day. Mostly cloudy skies are still expected across the region but with high temperatures topping out a bit closer to normal. Highs will be considerably warmer, climbing back into the 50s tomorrow afternoon.
The warming trend continues through much of the week but with more rain chances.
