CARTERVILLE Ill. (WSIL) -- The showers have generally subsided across our area from earlier. We should see continued cloudy skies pick up through the evening. Temperatures have remained very much above average with temperatures in the low and mid 50s. That southerly flow will only increase through tonight and tomorrow allowing for some 60s for highs this weekend.Â
December 26th evening Forecast with Meteorologist Nick Boynton
As we progress through the evening clouds increase and another impulse of energy slides across our area. This will bring another area of widespread rain through the entire area overnight. Most of the rain will come while we are sleeping but some scattered showers will linger through the morning commute. Some isolated thunder is possible but we are not expecting any severe weather.Â
