(WSIL) -- Showers are leaving western Kentucky this morning, kicking off a primarily dry forecast for the foreseeable period.

Today starts with sunshine for most, but it looks like we may have a bit of low clouds try to pass through around midday. This may bring mostly cloudy skies to some folks, before clearing out this evening. Either way, Friday ends dry, with high temperatures fairly seasonal, in the upper 40's.

The weekend looks largely dry, but I'm tracking a disturbance that will TRY to bring us some more active weather, coming up this morning, on News 3.
