(WSIL) The most recent heavy rain event filled ditches early Wednesday and has finally moved away. Dry skies should be with us for Thanksgiving but clouds will likely be the opening act. Clearing will spread slowly across the region during the day. Cleared skies will allow some fog to form Friday morning which could turn into persistent low clouds. Sunny skies are in the forecast for Saturday.
Temperatures will be seasonal through the weekend but a blast of much cooler air is possible early next week and could stick around for a few days. I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
