CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Plenty of sunshine across the area today but we have more rain around the corner.
The clear skies will stick around for much of the night with low temperatures dipping down into the upper 30s.
The changes will begin on Sunday. Clouds will be increasing throughout the day with the chance for rain returning by the evening.
A slight chance for showers will begin in southeastern Missouri by the afternoon before spreading across the viewing area throughout the evening.
Winds will be breezy out of the southwest with comfortable temperatures. High temperatures are projected to climb into the 60s tomorrow afternoon.
The rain will stick with us throughout the start of the work week.
