JACKSON CO. (WSIL) -- Two new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Jackson County.
The Jackson County Health Department says a man in his 60s and a woman in her 70s have tested positive.
Health officials say both acquired the disease through local contact with a known or suspected case.
To date, there have been 38 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County. Twelve of those individuals have now been released from isolation.
As of Tuesday, the a total of 23,247 cases, including 868 deaths.
