BENTON (WSIL) -- One local restaurant is preparing to reopen its dining room, as Illinois pushes into phase 4 of the Governor's "Reopen Illinois" plan.
Jason Bennett, owner of Jack Russell Fish Company in Benton, says he's preparing to open his doors at half capacity.
He says reopening the dining room will not only allow customers a more comfortable dining experience, but allow him to serve customers that he may have otherwise had to turn away.
"We had probably an overflow of people wanting to eat, so it's been very good, it's been busy but we've also had to turn away both dine-in and take-out unfortunately, because we haven't been prepared enough to handle ourselves," explained Bennett.
Bennett says he's been getting ready for the crowds by doing some remodeling and deep cleaning.
