Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

.Levels will continue to fall on the Big Muddy River for the next
week, dropping near to below flood stage by April 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Ameren crews repair damage to power poles

JOHNSTON CITY, IL (WSIL) -- Ameren crews worked over night to repair damage to power poles and lines after being hit by a semi.

This happened at the corner of Broadway Ave and Prosperity Road on Thursday, February 17.

Crews shut down two blocks of Broadway Ave to make repairs but expect to have it back open by mid morning.
