CARBONDALE (WSIL) -- Carbondale Police have arrested three men, and are searching for a fourth, believed to be responsible for a robbery and a shooting that occurred on Sunday, November 8.
 According to a press release, police received a call around 9:30 p.m. for a female with a gunshot wound to her leg in the 500 block of South University Avenue.
An investigation revealed four men broke into the victim’s apartment and robbed her at gunpoint.  One of the suspects beat the victim and shot her in the leg. The victim sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated and released from Memorial Hospital.
Police arrested Tyreiq L Buchanan, 18 of Carbondale, Jason L Wooley, 19 of Carbondale, and Darius D Nelson, 19 of Carbondale on robbery charges. Buchanan was also faces weapons charges as a result of the shooting. All three have been booked them into the Jackson County Jail.
Detectives are still searching for a fourth suspect, Kerwin J.C. Watson, 18, of Carbondale. Â Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Watson, or information about the incident is encouraged to contact the police department at 618-457-3200. Â
