CARTERVILLE (WSIL) A suspect is in custody after leading police on a chase through Williamson County Wednesday.
That chase ended at the Bank of Herrin in Carterville.
Carterville Police tell News 3 it happened around 7 p.m. when Crainville Police officers tried to make a traffic stop, but the driver sped away.
The chase went through parts of Crainville and Carterville and onto Route 13, before officers finally stopped the suspect.
No names are being released at this time, and officers say no one was injured.
