COLP, Ill. (WSIL) -- Two people face charges in connection to a stolen vehicle and drug investigation in Williamson County.
The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said deputies were on patrol in Colp at 7:26 p.m. on January 30, when they said they saw a stolen vehicle which was backed into an alley between the streets of Johnson and Lincoln.
After the suspected stolen vehicle left the area, authorities said they pulled over the vehicle.
The driver was identified as Keontae Morris, and the passenger was identified as Larissa Watson, the sheriff's office stated. They were both then detained.
The deputies later searched the vehicle. The sheriff's office said they found a bag with methamphetamine in it.Â
Later, after bringing Watson out of the back seat of one of the patrol vehicles, the sheriff's office said one of the deputies found a bag of methamphetamine in the rear seat of the patrol vehicle. Deputies also searched the pants pockets of Watson and they said they found some drug paraphernalia.

Keontae Morris
- Possession of Stolen Vehicle - Class 2 Felony
- Methamphetamine Possession - Class 3 Felony
- No Valid Driver's License - Class A Misdemeanor
Larissa Watson
- Methamphetamine Possession - Class 3 Felony
- Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia - Class A Misdemeanor
Both Morris and Watson were then taken to the Williamson County Jail.
