Two face multiple drug charges after authorities said they found 500+ fentanyl pills during search

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. -- Two people face charges after authorities searched a home in Marshall County.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said on September 21, deputies and detectives with their agency, along with the Marshall/Calloway Drug Task Force, served a search warrant at a home on Highland Road in Marshall County.

The sheriff's office said they found and seized more than 500 fentanyl pills, along with multiple guns on the property.

Both Nicole Dewayne Noonan, 48 of Benton, Kentucky, and Samantha Costello, 35 of Benton, Kentucky, were arrested, the sheriff's office stated.

Noonan faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (>2 gms) methamphetamine (enhancement), trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree >4gms, Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st offense (Fentanyl), trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree >10 dose units, trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd degree >10 dose units (Hallucinogens), trafficking in marijuana 8oz to 5lbs, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking in a synthetic drugs 1st offense.

Costello faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance 1st >10 dose units (enhanced), trafficking in marijuana <8oz and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Assisting Marshall County Sheriff's Office with the investigation was the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, McCracken County Sheriff's Office, Graves County Sheriff's Office and the DEA Paducah Post of Duty.
