...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON CDT /1 PM EDT/ TODAY TO
7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Heat index values 100 to 108 expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western
Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.

* WHEN...From noon CDT /1 PM EDT/ today to 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/
Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The first prolonged stretch of heat and
humidity of the season will amplify health impacts. Health impacts
will build with each successive day in the heat and humidity.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

Two sought in Williamson County

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. -- Authorities are looking for two people who are wanted on charges in Williamson County.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office alerted the public on Wednesday, October 9, about the two individuals.

Bridget Curtis, 41 of Marion, is wanted on a Possession of Meth <5 Grams charge. She is 5'7" tall, weighing 135 lbs. with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Kenneth Marks, 29 of Johnston City is wanted on Violation Sex Offender Registry and Possession of Meth charges. He is 5'4" tall, weighing 120 lbs. with blond hair and blue eyes.
