Two Taken to Jail During Search Warrant at Home, Drugs and Guns Found

MAYFIELD, Ky. -- Two people were taken to jail after a search warrant of a home results in reportedly finding drugs and guns.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said an investigation into the matter resulted in the arrest of Clarence L. Cobb, 38 of Mayfield.

Cobb is alleged to have sold Fentanyl pills from his home on Wilford Street in Mayfield.

This comes after a search warrant which was served on Cobb's home by Graves County Sheriff's Deputies and officers with the Mayfield Police Department on May 6, 2024.

Authorities searched the property and found 97 Fentanyl pills, methemphetamine, US currency, handguns and more, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office also said Cobb is a convicted felon which was previously convicted on cocaine possession on two different occasions.

  • Possession of Marijuana
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Possession of a 1st Degree Controlled Substance (Ecstasy)
  • Possession of Handgun(s) by a convicted felon
  • Possession Firearm(s) by a convicted felon

The sheriff's office said another person was at the home at the time when law enforcement served the search warrant. This person was reported to have outstanding warrants and was identified as Kimonte J. Courtney, 28. The sheriff's office stated Courtney had two warrants issued after he failed to appear in court on two outstanding cases.
