PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- A man who was wanted by police is now back in custody, while another person is being charged with aiding with evading authorities.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office earlier said 22-year-old Nash McMillen was accused of missing court in connection to a shooting case.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said Nash McMillen failed to show up for a court trial on March 24, where he faced a Fraudulent Firearm Transaction charge.
The sheriff's office said McMillen was originally arrested on January 17, 2024, after they received reports of shots fired in a Lone Oak neighborhood. Authorities accused McMillen of shooting into a backpack with books inside it.
On Friday, March 27, 2025 at 9:13 p.m., authorities said McMillen was arrested in Maryland Heights, Missouri, after he fled from police on a motorcycle. This comes after the sheriff's office said they located where McMillen was at, then contacted police in Maryland Heights to take him into custody. He was then taken to the St. Louis County Justice Center.
Additionally, the sheriff's office said 66-year-old Kathy Fox was assisting McMillen with evading authorities. Investigators also said Fox provided information and money to McMillen and also are investigating her in fraudulently using a credit card from her deceased mother.
On the morning of March 28, Fox was arrested and cited with a Complicity to Bail Jumping 1st Degree and was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
