
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Hickory Ridge Golf Course is hosting a golfing event for the upcoming solar eclipse.聽
The event will be on April 8th, starting at 11 a.m. They will serve lunch, then the golfing begins at noon. There will be a stoppage at 1:30, so everyone can view the total eclipse. Golfing will then resume afterwards.
You can enter this event as a group of two or four. Twosomes will cost $275, and foursomes will cost $550. With your registration, you get 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, a t-shirt, and a souvenir golf towel.

"We鈥檙e opening it up to twenty four teams of four and we鈥檙e also taking twosomes for the chance to play golf in the path of totality in Carbondale, IL," says Executive Director Trey Anderson. "So how cool to be able to play 9 holes, take a little break and experience the solar eclipse. I believe it鈥檚 the last one that will be around for twenty years.鈥�
