CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- John A. Logan College plans to host a Saturday Signup Day to help register students and assist with financial aid and other student services.
The event will take place from 9 until Noon on August 7.
According to John A. Logan College Provost, Dr. Melanie Pecord, the event is designed for working adults.
“We recognize that for many in our region, finding time to register for classes during the normal workweek can be next to impossible,� said Pecord. “To better serve this population, we have planned a day that will allow these students to come to the College on a Saturday and have a one-stop-shop for registration.�
Pecord added that new students could help expedite the event by visiting the College website at  and filling in some information before Saturday.
