ELDORADO, Ill. -- Ferrell Hospital is the recipient of a $5,000 dollar donation from WLC Management Firm LLC, to aid in ongoing flood recovery efforts.聽
Ferrell Hospital sustained damages on May 8th, when a storm brought flood waters rushing into the building. The hospital relocated its patients and closed to new patients soon after. Restoration efforts have been underway since, with the help of the Illinois Department of Public Health.聽
In a press release, WLC cemented Ferrell Hospital as a cornerstone of the Eldorado community, providing essential medical services and care to the residents. WLC officials said their donation underscores the company's commitment to supporting local institutions that are vital to community health and well-being.聽
"We recognize the critical role that Ferrell Hospital plays in our region, especially during challenging times like these," said Dave Davis, Vice President of Public Relations at WLC Management Firm. "We are proud to contribute to the hospital's flood recovery efforts and remain committed to standing alongside our community as it works to rebuild and thrive."聽
The donation ceremony was attended by key members of Ferrell Hospital, including CEO Tony Keene, CFO Greg Wright, Director of Community Relations and Foundation Callie Smith, CNO/COO Rachel Prather, and CNO/COO Caliegh Bruce.聽
Workers at Ferrell Hospital have not yet provided a projected date for re-opening.聽
