SYMSONIA, Ky. (WSIL) -- Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear announced another person lost their life in connection to severe weather which hit the state last week.

Beshear stated a man in Graves County was the 23rd storm victim who lost their life. Beshear stated floodwaters took the life of this man.

On Monday, Kentucky State Police said they found the body of Samuel Wilson in a wooded area near where his car was recovered in some floodwaters. This was reported near Symsonia in Graves County.

"Please pray for these families," Beshear posted on his Facebook page. "During tough times, the best thing we can do is be there for each other."
