MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. -- A Kentucky woman was charged with prostitution after an online investigation in McCracken County, police said Tuesday.
Authorities allege 40-year-old Karla Hessler of Ledbetter advertised sexual services through a website being used for prostitution.
Police arrested her Friday after she allegedly sent a price list and directions to a hotel to an undercover officer who contacted her through the website.
Detectives executed a search warrant at Hessler's hotel room and seized small amounts of marijuana, cocaine and Xanax, according to police.
Hessler was taken to the county jail. Police say additional charges are pending.
