flood stage near Plumfield and Murphysboro late Sunday or Monday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Big Muddy River near Plumfield.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 24.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late Sunday evening and continue falling to 17.5 feet
Tuesday, April 22.
- Flood stage is 20.0 feet.

WSIL —� It was a great start to the weekend with plenty of sunshine and seasonable temperatures. 

Overnight the mostly clear skies will persist with lows dipping into the 60s.  The nice weather is going to continue into Sunday.  Tomorrow will be beautiful with more sunshine and highs in the 80s.  Enjoy the nice weather while it lasts, the rain chances will ramp up by Monday.
