CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- There are animals across the region in need of a home to call their own. In this edition of Pets of the Week, we are featuring three dogs and two cats who are up for adoption.

Finding Forever Animal Rescue has a beautiful grey cat (pictured) up for adoption. All kitten and cat adoption fees are lowered to $50.00 for one or $70.00 for two until Saturday, September 26. The facility is located in Marion and you can adopt or shop between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Avalanche is a 2 1/2-year-old American Staffy. He's available for adoption or rescue. You can adopt Avalanche for $160 which includes various shots -- and microchips. For more information contact Marion Animal Control.
Buck is a Great Pyrenees / Pit mix who is only 9 months old. He loves to play and is very energetic. He is also good with other dogs and kids and loves attention and toys. Buck is available Wayne County Humane Society in Fairfield.
Barney is a Domestic Shorthair who was dropped at the door of PAWS Adoption Center in a tiny cage with his sister. He will curl up in your lap and is just waiting to make your household complete. His adoption fee is $75 at the shelter in Anna.
