Crews begin road work to repair potholes

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) KYTC crews plan to repair potholes along Interstate 24 starting around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The road work is expected to affect the interstate from mile marker 30 to mile marker 16 in either direction.

Officials say a mobile work caravan will begin westbound on mile marker 30, east of the Tennessee River Bridge. Crews will then work west to mile marker 16. Crews will then go eastbound back to mile marker 30.

Officials say the road work will move drivers to one lane for that area, but work is mainly focused on the driving lane.

KTYC urges drivers to use caution.

Crews expect to be completed by 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
