Section of Highway 148 in Christopher closes due to gas leak

CHRISTOPHER, Ill. (WSIL) -- A section of a highway is shut down in Christopher due to a gas leak on Monday morning.

The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency stated at 11:26 a.m. on January 27, State Highway 148 (Victor Street) was shut down because of a gas leak.

County officials inform motorists to use an alternative route around the area.
