
WSIL(Carterville, IL)-- The severe threat is over, but in the storms wake, we are seeing a lot of colder temperatures and gusty winds. We are currently seeing sustained winds 15 to 2 miles per hour, with gusts up to 40 possible, and for this reason, there is a wind advisory in 7 AM this morning.Â
Winds will calm through the afternoon hours. We will also see the sun come out this afternoon, but it will be cold. We will see temperatures by noon in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Temperatures in the afternoon will be in the lower to mid 40s.
We will be dry through the afternoon and through the overnight hours.
Tomorrow, we will see we will see much colder conditions in the morning, with morning lows expected to be in the 20s. We will be rebounding into the upper 40s tomorrow afternoon and into the 50s by Friday. We should be into the upper 60s and 70s for the weekend.Â
