GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. -- Deputies arrested a man who they say has fled from law officials multiple times before this instance.Â
The Graves County Sheriff's Office released information on the arrest of James M. Majors, 43, on Wednesday.Â
According to deputies, the office first received reports of a "suspicious white male" on Wednesday around 4:00 p.m. Officials responded to the scene in the 500 block of Rule Shack Road near Fancy Farm.Â
Deputies involved in the situation said the suspect ran from the scene into nearby woods upon noticing law officials approaching the scene. A nearby resident gave authorities access to an ATV that the department used to quickly search the woods.Â
The sheriff's Office says those searching the area located Majors beneath a log. The suspect at first provided several fake names before the office was able to recognize him as a frequent suspect. Authorities say this occurred three times before this instance.Â
Deputies had previously gone through this situation with Majors at least threes prior. The sheriff's office cited Majors' arrest on Meth charges, violation of release conditions, Fleeing Police and Giving False Information to Police.
