CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Volunteers and park staff gathered at the Petsafe Carbondale Community Dog Park on Saturday morning to work on repairs.
Volunteers filled holes, fixed broken fences, cut down weeds, cleaned up trash and other miniscule tasks to beautify the park.Â
The goal is to keep the park safe and well maintained for the Carbondale community to enjoy.
Many of the volunteers brought dogs to the event to help out.Â
The dog park is a part of the Carbondale Park District.Â
